How can we do “Watermelon and Chicken Wednesdays” and not put something up about food. Y’all crazy! FISKKK!! The documentery “The Future of Foods” will twist you up. Anyone who is concerned with health and taking care of their bodies will need to see this. It goes into genetically modifying natural foods, Cloned food and how some corporations are making advancements in controlling what you eat. Not only that but what you will and will not be able to grow yourself. It’s wild. This was taken from the synapsis page of their website: ” THE FUTURE OF FOOD offers an in-depth investigation into the disturbing truth behind the unlabeled, patented, genetically engineered foods that have quietly filled U.S. grocery store shelves for the past decade. From the prairies of Saskatchewan, Canada to the fields of Oaxaca, Mexico, this film gives a voice to farmers whose lives and livelihoods have been negatively impacted by this new technology. The health implications, government policies and push towards globalization are all part of the reason why many people are alarmed by the introduction of genetically altered crops into our food supply. ” Link: www.thefutureoffood.com/synopsis.htm

Watermelon and Chicken Wednesday’s

You heard right. Watermelon… chicken… you get what I’m sayin. Or do you? Make your own descision. I’ll be posting many things surrounding Black’s, African American’s, Negro’s Coon’s, Sambo’s, Niggers, nigga’s, dark skinned people’s, Moors… all that. Firsts up is an Article I was reading about the Coon character. I didn’t know that there was a difference between Coon’s and Sambo’s. Here is a quote from the article: ” The coon caricature is one of the most insulting of all anti -Black caricatures. The name itself, an abbreviation of raccoon, is dehumanizing. As with Sambo, the coon was portrayed as a lazy, easily frightened, chronically idle, inarticulate, buffoon. The coon differed from the Sambo in subtle but important ways. Sambo was depicted as a perpetual child, not capable of living as an independent adult. The coon acted childish, but he was an adult; albeit a good-for-little adult. Sambo was portrayed as a loyal and contented servant. Indeed, Sambo was offered as a defense for slavery and segregation. How bad could these institutions have been, asked the racialists, if Blacks were contented, even happy, being servants? The coon, although he often worked as a servant, was not happy with his status. He was, simply, too lazy or too cynical to attempt to change his lowly position. Also, by the 1900s, Sambo was identified with older, docile Blacks who accepted Jim Crow laws and etiquette; whereas coons were increasingly identified with young, urban Blacks who disrespected Whites. Stated differently, the coon was a Sambo gone bad. ” Check it out. This is the link:www.ferris.edu/jimcrow/coon/homepage.htm … and hitch a ride to the land of dixie. Get your plates ready and y’all enjoy yah self now! ZINGGGG!
