M, A, F, to da I to da O-SO fresh… ya heard… Da dominican don is in the building.. The Binkis boardwalk on the internet. We got cyber real estate now.. And it was freee but soon it could turn into equity… So you know I could’ve just start my own rudimentary blog dont ya think… But all that jazz is getting real old real quick.. everybody gots a blog and I enjoy them thouroughly. Especially the joints that put me on to a new way of looking at things or my favorites are the ones that bless me with music and promote an old time practice of like minded people sharing and exchanging music they love.. But the Binkis concept is unique.. Black and Brown brothers coming together to collectively share thoughts, videos, music, Binks,Fangs and Pings… 4 very different perspectives all aiming at the same target.. We all from the innercity.. Me, Jax, and Flux from Queens and Killa Gorilla is from Chicago.. Southside i believe.. But we all have made a name for ourselves in the A-town.. The Binkis movement was born in the ATL so we got nothing but love for the A.. Shiiiit.. Ive been in the A since 86 so these days i just make it really easy for cats and just go ahead and say im from the A.. Cause it aint where your from its where you at… But never forget where you from and you will always know where your going.. So now that its clear that each of us will bring our own element to the blog let me start it all off by examining the latest movement on music.. The Hipster scene.. People think its sooo new and soo fresh for black kids to rhyme over electro beats.. I love the the music that is coming out these days im not discounting it I am only bringing forth that is nothing new at all. We must remember everything is cyclical in this life and music history is just repeating itself yet again.. So to reinforce my thoughts I will bring everyone back to a time where House music was just as urban as Hip Hop.. When Hip Hoppers loved house music and House heads loved Hip Hop. If you think the segragation of people is a bad thing then you must agree that musical segregation is just as bad folks.. Its just as damaging to the people.. There is soo much music that we as people or fans of a particular style miss out on just because it aint hip hop.. I vote for that mentality to kill itself.. Lets take it back to when it was all so simple…
