That’s right! Cybil with a ” C “. Not to many people heard of this joint but it was right around the late 80’s, early 90’s. I know House heads know though. I use to wild off of this joint here. House music was already wreckin shit in the Chi but I didn’t get into it until, until the Jungle Brothers did “I’ll House You”. My brother on the other hand… was a full fledged House Head. Gear and everything. HAAAAAAA! He influenced me when it came to this. He had tapes all over the place. Thanks Brah!! Unfortunetly, I can’t find a biography on her so… I’ll just play the video. BLAMMMM!!

Sybil!!

An excellent vocalist and one of the finest among disco divas, New Jersey singer Sybil has come close to pop stardom but has not yet attained it. She worked with Ce Ce Rogers in Ce Ce & Company before signing with Next Plateau. Though her songs have been well received by club audiences, R&B fans have been slower to warm to her cool but expertly sung numbers. She got the best general response to her remake of “Don’t Make Me Over” in 1989. Her other songs didn’t reach the R&B Top 40. Sybil signed with the Stock, Aitken & Waterman team in 1990, and the single “Make It Easy on Me” was issued shortly afterward. In 1993, she releasedDoin’ It Now for Next Plateau. ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide

And with one of the fliest remakes ever, I am proud to present… Sybil. FISKKKK!!
