By the way… this is probably my favorite 2Pac song ever. Shout to my homies Tuki and Chris. They helped me enjoy this joint even more.

I don’t think I believe this shit. It sounds like a ploy to me just to boost McDonald’s sales. Plus they are losing business to much healthier selections for lunch. Your choice though! BLAMMMM!!

QUINTON, Va. — A Virginia man lost about 80 pounds in six months by eating nearly every meal at McDonald’s.
Not Big Macs, french fries and chocolate shakes. Mostly salads, wraps and apple dippers without the caramel sauce.
Chris Coleson tipped the scales at 278 pounds in December. The 5-foot-8 Coleson now weighs 199 pounds and his waist size has dropped from 50 to 36.
The 42-year-old businessman from Quinton says he chose McDonald’s because it’s convenient.
His inspiration came from his two children and from the story of a blind war veteran who rode a tandem bicycle cross-country.
Coleson says his goal is to get back to the 185 pounds he weighed when he married Tricia Summer. Their 10th anniversary is Saturday.

That’s right! Cybil with a ” C “. Not to many people heard of this joint but it was right around the late 80’s, early 90’s. I know House heads know though. I use to wild off of this joint here. House music was already wreckin shit in the Chi but I didn’t get into it until, until the Jungle Brothers did “I’ll House You”. My brother on the other hand… was a full fledged House Head. Gear and everything. HAAAAAAA! He influenced me when it came to this. He had tapes all over the place. Thanks Brah!! Unfortunetly, I can’t find a biography on her so… I’ll just play the video. BLAMMMM!!

An excellent vocalist and one of the finest among disco divas, New Jersey singer Sybil has come close to pop stardom but has not yet attained it. She worked with Ce Ce Rogers in Ce Ce & Company before signing with Next Plateau. Though her songs have been well received by club audiences, R&B fans have been slower to warm to her cool but expertly sung numbers. She got the best general response to her remake of “Don’t Make Me Over” in 1989. Her other songs didn’t reach the R&B Top 40. Sybil signed with the Stock, Aitken & Waterman team in 1990, and the single “Make It Easy on Me” was issued shortly afterward. In 1993, she releasedDoin’ It Now for Next Plateau. ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide
And with one of the fliest remakes ever, I am proud to present… Sybil. FISKKKK!!

Back again with another Manic Monday. Not just your average news that you will hear on the news but some news you might like to hear. This joint here is about scientist finding evidence of another solar system. My thing is… people act like this is so hard to believe. Like we are the only people in the entire universe. Selfish ass mothasuckas. BLAMMMMM!!!
WASHINGTON — European researchers said on Monday they discovered a batch of three “super-Earths” orbiting a nearby star, and two other solar systems with small planets as well.
They said their findings, presented at a conference in France, suggest that Earth-like planets may be very common.
“Does every single star harbor planets and, if yes, how many?” asked Michel Mayor of Switzerland’s Geneva Observatory. “We may not yet know the answer but we are making huge progress towards it,” Mayor said in a statement.
The trio of planets orbit a star slightly less massive than our Sun, 42 light-years away towards the southern Doradus and Pictor constellations. A light-year is the distance light can travel in one year at a speed of 186,000 miles a second, or about 6 trillion miles.
The planets are bigger than Earth — one is 4.2 times the mass, one is 6.7 times and the third is 9.4 times.
They orbit their star at extremely rapid speeds — one whizzing around in just four days, compared with Earth’s 365 days, one taking 10 days and the slowest taking 20 days.
Mayor and colleagues used the High Accuracy Radial velocity Planet Searcher or HARPS, a telescope at La Silla observatory in Chile, to find the planets.
More than 270 so-called exoplanets have been found. Most are giants, resembling Jupiter or Saturn. Smaller planets closer to the size of Earth are far more difficult to spot.
None can be imaged directly at such distances but can be spotted indirectly using radio waves or, in the case of HARPS, spectrographic measurements. As a planet orbits, it makes the star wobble very slightly and this can be measured.
“With the advent of much more precise instruments such as the HARPS spectrograph … we can now discover smaller planets, with masses between 2 and 10 times the Earth’s mass,” said Stephane Udry, who also worked on the study.
The team also said they found a planet 7.5 times the mass of Earth orbiting the star HD 181433 in 9.5 days. This star also has a Jupiter-like planet that orbits every three years.
Another solar system has a planet 22 times the mass of Earth, orbiting every four days, and a Saturn-like planet with a 3-year period.
“Clearly these planets are only the tip of the iceberg,” said Mayor.
“The analysis of all the stars studied with HARPS shows that about one third of all solar-like stars have either super-Earth or Neptune-like planets with orbital periods shorter than 50 days.”

The writers and producers of the original “Ghetto Heaven” Common did a cool version but this shit was going the flux off!!! I’m serious, me and Killa was just yakkin about this joint. I never heard anything else from them but this is a CLASSIC!!! Here’s a Bio from Vh1 and the video:
The Family Stand consists of Dallas, Texas, native Sandra St. Victor, Jeffrey Smith, and Peter Lord, a native New Yorker. Lord and Smith originally answered to, Evon Jeffries and the Stand, and recorded under that name two years prior to becomingthe Family Stand. Though they have three albums to their credit, their biggest fame has come from “Promise of a New Day,” a tune co-written with Paula Abdul and sung by the former Los Angeles Lakers dancer.Jacci McGhee, replaced St. Victor on Connected, their latest CD, released in 1998.St. Victor left to solo, coming out with Mack Diva Saves the World on Warner Brothers Records. The members have played with the top names in rock, Smith, as a saxophone player. Lord, a vocalist and keyboardist, earned a degree in musical composition from Howard University and played with bands from the D.C. area. Returning to New York, Lord teamed with Smith and produced and wrote for Miki Howard, the Mac Band, Donna Allen, Good Fellaz, Will Downing, Corey Glover, and Ali to name a short list. St. Victorattended the University of Kansas and studied classical music. Moving to New York she became in demand as a vocalist on the road and in the studio working with Freddie Jackson, Roy Ayers, Chaka Khan, Nile Rodgers, Kashif, Glenn Jones, and others. The Family Stand’s first LP Chain, produced the single “Ghetto Heaven,” a favorite in discos, none of the Atlantic LP’s other songs’ “Sweet Liberation,” “In Summer I Falled,” “Chain,” or “Twisted,” broke out. A second LP Moon in Scorpio, appeared on East West Records but had too much rock and not enough soul for urban listeners and failed to register; they didn’t release another CD until 1998, the much ballyhooed Connected, on Elektra/Asylum Records. The album loses the tripping acid sound and delves heavily into the brand of soul that made the ’70s musically exciting. When it didn’t sell, Elektra released them at their insistence. During the six years between albums, Lord and Smith, added McGhee and concentrated on writing and producing. Don’t be surprised if the Family Stand rises again, it’s hard to keep a good, talented group down. ~ Andrew Hamilton, All Music Guide
