Yesterday was my first big event that I was heading while working at the Boys & Girls Club. It’s a yearly event call KKCC (Kiwanis Kids Cultural Challenge) in which each club gets a country and has to represent that country in its entirety at this final event. Now I’m not going to go into all the challenges that I personally had to deal with but lets just say it was enough to make me want to quit. HAAAAAA! All in all, it was a great learning experience and I was proud of my group of eleven troopers that did the hard grind! To see them happy that we won something (best Banner in our region) was FANGSTA! When learning something new and taking on unchartered seas, it is very difficult to stare the boat into all that darkness but I’m grateful that I am from the family that birthed me and I got some DOPE ASS FRIENDS that I can depend on when I feel lost. Thanks to all y’all and definitely thanks to the children. I have learned a lot. Progress is a process! Keep it FANGSTA!!!!!
